ALBERS NESTING TABLES
Albers Nesting Tables Information:
Albers Nesting Tables by Ameico. Produced in collaboration with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.
What is today a striking and widely acclaimed, iconic Bauhaus design was quite revolutionary in 1926. Josef Albers designed this set of 4 nesting tables for the Moellenhof family home in Berlin while he was the artistic director of the furniture department at the Bauhaus Weimar.
Features minimalist, stream-lined design, combined with clear geometric form and the use of colors from Josef Albers' work as a painter. Available only as a set of 4.
Josef and Anni Albers were Bauhaus alumni and professors who settled in the US in the 1930s and continued their artistic productivity at Black Mountain College and Yale School of Art. Josef's works in stained glass, furniture and paintings demonstrate a clear love of color and form. The original version of these attractive nesting tables resides at the Albers Foundation in Bethany, CT. Albers Nesting Tables by Ameico are designed by Josef Albers.
