Details:
Large-scale, sculptural suspension design resembling a large dragonfly. Shattered or crackled glass is ‘sandwiched’ between two clear glass layers on each of the three wings. A compact fluorescent lamp illuminate the sculpture and a halogen lamp provides downlight.
Suspended on three cables to support the weight, Helix’s triangular backing attaches to a standard 4” junction box. The canopy houses an electronic ballast and the fixture may be dual switched for separate lighting options. Designed by Oscar Tusquets Blanca
